University Guest Rooms
Walla Walla University provides convenient guest rooms located on our main campus for alumni, parents, students, and visitors attending WWU events.
Located just one block north of campus at 27 N College Ave, College Place, WA, these accommodations are managed by the Village Housing Office.
Reserve a Room
Guest Room (2 guest max)
We have 7 cozy guest rooms, each featuring:
- 1 Queen Bed (maximum of 2 guests per room)
- Private Bath with walk-in shower
- Mini-Refrigerator & Microwave
- Cable TV & WiFi
Note: No roll-away beds or extra mattresses available.
ADA Accessible Room
One ADA-compliant guest room is available and should be reserved in advance.
Guest Apartment (4 guest max)
Our one-bedroom apartment offers a bit more space and amenities:
- 1 Queen Bed and 1 Full Hide-A-Bed (maximum of 4 guests, plus an infant)
- Kitchenette with basic appliances, dishes, and cookware
- Full Bathroom with bathtub
- Cable TV & WiFi
Note: A portable crib is available in the bedroom closet.
“University Guest Rooms” Policies
General Policies
- No Smoking, Open Flames, Cooking, Drugs, Alcohol, or Pets
- Cooking is only permitted in apartment-style guest rooms.
- A $50 fine will be charged to the registered guest for policy violations.
- Exceptions are made for service animals with advance notice.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-In Time: 2 p.m. on the reservation start date.
- Check-Out Time: 11 a.m. on departure date (extended to 2 p.m. on Sabbath only).
- Room Ready for Cleaning: Please open drapes before departure to signal readiness for cleaning.
- Late Check-Out: Charges may apply.
Key Codes
- Activation & Deactivation: Key codes are activated at 2 p.m. on the check-in date and deactivated at 11 a.m. on the check-out date.
Cancellation Policy
- Notice Requirement: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance (by 1:59 p.m. the day before check-in).
- Late Cancellation: Failure to cancel within this timeframe will result in a charge equivalent to one night’s stay.
Maximum Stay
- Length Limit: Reservations are limited to a maximum of seven (7) consecutive nights.
Payment
- Credit Card: Required at the time of reservation, with charges billed after the stay.
- Alternative Payment Methods: Payments can be made in person at the Village Housing office (26 N College Avenue) by Visa, MasterCard, cash (U.S.), or check during business hours.
Linens and Towels
- Linen Service: Available upon request for stays longer than three nights.
- Service Request: Call the Village Housing office during business hours at (509) 527-2109.
Damages & Loss
- Responsibility: Any damage or loss of property or furnishings is the responsibility of the registered guest.
- Repair/Replacement Costs: Guests will be charged accordingly.
Excessive Debris/Soil
- Cleaning Fees: Guests will be responsible for excessive cleaning fees, including outsourced service rates (e.g., carpet cleaners) and a $50/hour fee for housekeeping staff.
Found Items
- Retention Period: Non-perishable items, excluding underclothing and miscellaneous toiletries, are held for up to 14 days.
- Notification & Return: Reasonable efforts will be made to notify guests. Items can be returned via USPS with packaging/postage costs and a $10 handling fee.
- Unclaimed Items: After 14 days, unclaimed items are disposed of.
WiFi
- Complimentary Access: Free WiFi is available for all registered guests through the Walla Walla University network.
